Meet Bently Green, jr. – Associate Attorney

Bently Green is an associate at Karpinski, Cornbrooks, and Karp. He was admitted to the Maryland Bar in November 2023. His practice focuses on complex civil litigation with an emphasis on state and local government official matters, election law issues, police liability litigation, and employment disputes.

Bently graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2018 with a degree in Criminal Justice and minors in Chemistry and Psychology. He graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2023.

During law school, Bently completed the Criminal Practice Clinic with the Maryland Office of the Public Defender. He was also involved in many extracurricular activities at UB, serving on the Student Bar Association Executive Board as Sports and Programming Director, he was Secretary of the Criminal Law Association, and he was an active member of the Environmental Law Association.

Outside of school and work, Bently enjoys volunteering and participating in community service. Before law school, Bently volunteered annually with Missouri Clean Stream and Rebuilding St. Louis, and has also volunteered for the Special Olympics, Relay for Life, and the Oxford, Mississippi Food Bank. Since moving to Baltimore, he has found time to volunteer at Leveling The Playing Field, an organization that collects donated sports gear and equipment and distributes the gear to local teams in need.

Bently was born in Tupelo, Mississippi, and grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, so he knows a thing or two about BBQ and southern cooking and loves to try new restaurants. He is a passionate sports fan, supporting his Ole Miss Rebels, St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Blues, and New England Patriots. As a diehard baseball fan, Bently has adopted the O’s as his American League team and enjoys walking to Camden Yards for a ballgame every chance he gets.
